Everton Can Repeat Last Week’s Heroics
Everton will be buoyed by their win over the same opponents a week ago and can avoid defeat this evening.
Man City have only dropped points in two home games this season but they face an Everton side who beat them this time last week.
Roberto Martinez’s team is hard to fathom. They play good football and have plenty of quality in their squad yet languish 11th in the league. Their problem is in defence, where they have shipped 29 goals but they carry enough threat going forward to worry a Kompany-less City.
We saw in the Capital One Cup that City are eminently beatable and although the venue has changed Everton are a good bet at 13/8 (Boylesports) to leave the Etihad with at least a point.
