Where There’s A Will There’s Esswein
Alexander Esswein scored at the weekend and is averaging a monstrous 6.2 shots per 90min in the Europa League this season.
Alexander Esswein hasn’t been a regular starter for Augsburg over the last couple of months but he should be confident of retaining his place after a man of the match display against Stuttgart at the weekend.
The 25-year-old started for the first time since mid-October and scored the opener in what turned into a 4-0 rout.
In three Europa League appearances this season, Esswein is averaging 6.2 shots per90, with 3.7 of those shots coming from inside the penalty area.
The Augsburg winger has a healthy shot volume with over half from good locations. That makes him an excellent each-way bet at 10/1 (Bet365) to open the scoring with 1/3 odds if he scores anytime.
