Germany's Second Best Are Too Hot To Handle

In Germany only Bayern are better than Everton's next Europa League opponents according to the Bundesliga table.

Second in the Bundesliga and on a great run of form, Wolfsburg are good value to beat Everton on their own patch at best odds of 5/6 (Paddy Power).

The Merseysiders may have won the clash at Goodison Park back in September but the match was nothing like the 4-1 scoreline reflected; the Germans actually had 27 attempts of goal of which 13 were on target. That attacking prowess has since resulted in 2-4 and 5-1 victories for Die Wolfe against the other sides in Group H.

Everton will do very well to extend their recent run considering they travel without a host of big names including Leighton Baines, Gareth Barry and Stephen Pienaar. Roberto Martinez will also have one eye on a big Premier League trip to Spurs on Sunday before the matches start to come thick and fast in December.

The Toffees should be fine to progress even if they lose at the Volkswagen Arena and the way Wolfsburg are taking the Bundesliga by storm that is really pretty likely.
