Dynamic Kiev Can KO Everton

2-1 was regarded as a good outcome for Everton because they came from behind to win. But it's a slender lead to defend in Ukraine where Kiev are unbeaten at home.

The fact that Everton came from behind to secure a 2-1 first leg victory over Dynamo Kiev created a feel-good factor at Goodison Park, but it remains a troublesome scoreline to defend in the Ukraine.

The tie appear to be on a knife edge which makes best odds of 4/7 (WilliamHill) on the Toffees progressing, but 6/4 (Coral) on Kiev qualifying somewhat mystifying.

Serhiy Rebrov’s boys are unbeaten in all competitions this season at their 70,000 capacity stadium and they have won their last four Europa League home games by a two-goal margin. That would do the trick for them on Thursday night.

Kiev have triumphed 5-0 and 3-0 in their most recent two domestic home games as well and have fond memories of knocking out Man City at this stage in 2011.

Furthermore, the Merseysiders have lost their last three away fixtures in the Premier League without even scoring. The odds look all wrong here.
