Bucharest Can Bully Europa Novices
The Romanians have had more shots than anyone in the competition so far and should dominate tonight.
If you’re looking for a potential thrashing to make money on in the Europa League then the place to look this Thursday is probably Group J.
Steaua Bucharest have had the most shots so far in the competition (31) from two rounds of matches and won their opening home game 6-0 against Aalborg. This time they host the group strugglers Rio Ave having won their last two domestic matches 0-3 and 4-1.
The Portuguese visitors have never played at this level before this season and have lost their first two matches without scoring in reply. The Romanians should be even bigger favourites than they are and at best odds of 7/2 (Paddy Power) look a shrewd bet to win both halves.
