AZ Alkmaar v Lyon Preview

Their weird and wonderful Europa League returns on Thursday and the value lies in searching for some less heralded names. The match between AZ Alkmaar and Lyon won’t generate much interest in the British Isles but it should be entertaining.
Alkmaar have scored at least two goals in 8 out of 10 home games in the Eredivisie and they concede plenty too, no one in the top half of the league have conceded more their 32 goals in 22 games.
Going forward there is plenty to like about the Dutch side especially Alireza Jahanbakhsh, who averages 3.1 shots per90 making him the highest volume shooter in the squad.
