Poland v Northern Ireland: HT/FT Tip

Northern Ireland are a highly credible 12 games unbeaten but they haven't faced a better attack in years.

It seems dismissive of Northern Ireland that they are nothing longer than 8/11 to lose their first major championship game in 30 years given they are 12 matches undefeated.

However, not to take anything away from that achievement, but it’s debatable whether they’ve played a side as strong as Poland in that run or even throughout qualification. At least in an attacking sense.

The Poles boast Robert Lewandowski, arguably the best out and out striker in the competition. He fired in 13 times during qualification - only three fewer than the entire Irish side managed - and his partner in crime Arkadiusz Milik grabbed a further six.

But the Irish are dogged and determined and we can factor that in to our advantage. I don’t think they can resist for 90 minutes but ‘Half time: Draw - Full time: Poland’ looks attractive at a best price 7/2 with Paddy Power.
