Greece v Russia: Correct Score Tip
The Group A leaders will want to progress without any dramas on Saturday.
Russia have received plenty of plaudits for their attacking excellence in the last week but the one thing Dick Advocaat would probably want to see now is a win with a clean sheet. The goal conceded against Czech Republic was academic in the end but the one Poland grabbed cost Russia 2 points.
Russian clean sheets were commonplace in qualifying for this competition; there were seven in 10 matches. This should be a prime opportunity for another one against Greek opponents who haven’t scored more than one goal in any of their last seven outings.
I think the highly experienced Advocaat will be calling for professionalism rather than a gung-ho approach in this final Group A clash. Russia should be able to win with a cushion so I fancy a 2-0 win at best odds of 8/1 with WilliamHill.
