E Clasico Tip: A Real Big Price
The Champions League holders shouldn't be underdogs on this scale when the sides remain so evenly matched.
It’s probably the most eagerly anticipated derby in the world and, quite simply, Real Madrid are probably too big at 4/1 (Betfred) when it comes to winning any football match.
They are the reigning champions of Europe, and while their current form is worse than their hosts, they remain separated by just one point in La Liga and it’s not so long ago they recorded an astonishing 22 wins in a row.
Real have also triumphed in the last two Clasicos; 2-1 in the final of the Copa del Rey last season and 3-1 at the Bernabeu this term.
And then there’s Cristiano Ronaldo. The World Player of the Year has struck in six of his last seven trips to Camp Nou and no team with him in it can really be that big a long shot.
