City Often Come Unstuck Against Toffees

Everton's recent record at Goodison against City is exceptional (W4 D1 L1).

There’s a definite symmetry between today’s big two matches in the Premier League. In both cases, one of the two favourites for the title is away to a team who have excellent records against them.

In regards to Manchester City, they tend to hate their visits to Goodison Park where they have only won once in six attempts (L4 D1). This isn’t the only time they’ve arrived on Merseyside on great form and we shouldn’t really expect all their vulnerabilities of last spring to have miraculously disappeared over the summer.

Everton had a dramatic turnaround themselves between games one and two of this campaign. They were fortunate to grab a point against Watford before they on the style with an unlikely 3-0 victory away to Southampton straight after.

You can’t see anyone shutting the Citizens out just now but the home win with both teams scoring isn’t out of the question at a best price of 7/1 with Boylesports.
