Citizens Hate Anfield

Man City haven't won any of their last 11 league trips to Liverpool and the Reds are the form team of 2015.

Although both sides suffered European disappointments in midweek, Liverpool look the side most likely to get back on track with a victory at Anfield.

The Reds are unbeaten at home to the champions in their last 11 league clashes dating all the way back to 2003. That sort of sequence can inspire confidence but it wouldn’t matter a jot if the Merseysiders were still on their early season form. Instead, they are unbeaten in ten outings (W7 D3) and are hunting down a Champions League spot.

That all said, City have found the net in all but one of their last 23 league outings. With Toure back, and Aguero back on form, that sequence will probably continue. Liverpool to win but with both teams to score is a 9/2 shot with Betfair.
