We’re only relying on three teams to find us a very tidy 19/1 shot with BetVictor this week - back Burnley, Wolves and Sheffield Wednesday to bring home the bacon.

Burnley v Southampton: (13/8)

Anyone who watched the Southampton v Crystal Palace match in midweek would have seen a home side whose bubble may be about to burst. Yes, they snatched a point, but the performance was unconvincing; the new manager bounce may be coming to an end. In contrast, Burnley went from strength to strength at Old Trafford and seem to have last season’s mojo back. They’ve had a couple of recent clean sheets, whereas Saints have 1 in 14 PL games. The Clarets’ form is built on sturdier foundations and is more sustainable.

Everton v Wolves: (2/1)

In theory this is the battle to be the ‘best of the rest’ as 7th meet 8th at Goodison Park but there’s a case for saying the newly promoted side look a class apart. Wolves tore West Ham apart in midweek and have already enjoyed positive results against Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs this season. Everton were dumped out of the FA Cup by Millwall last weekend and the fans aren’t happy. They’ve suffered a 2-6 loss to Spurs and a 1-0 defeat to Leicester, both at home recently, as well as failures at Brighton and Saints.

Ipswich v Sheffied Wednesday: (31/20)

It’s something of a mystery that you can still enjoy good prices on away teams at Portman Road given that Ipswich are still rock bottom and 7 points from safety. 5 defeats in the last 6 for the Tractor Boys suggest than Paul Lambert is not going to be the difference. In contrast Wednesday are perking up after 1 loss in 6 Championship outings, easing any niggling relegation fears at Hillsborough.
