Saturday Acca

We're getting better than 9/1 on Fulham, QPR and a crestfallen Wolves all losing on Saturday against in-form opponents.

For Saturday’s acca we’re doing what you need to do in April, and allowing heavily for situational factors. That leaves us with Everton, Southampton and Swansea to win at 9.12/1 with Betfred.

Everton (8/11) to win at Fulham:

This is a price I would never usually take on Marco Silva’s boys away from Goodison especially, but they are really flying and, well, they face Fulham. The Cottagers have now broken a very unwelcome record - 13 consecutive matches of conceding 2+ goals with 9 defeats on the bounce. In contrast Everton have won their last 3 without letting in a single goal. The form reversal here would have to be enormous to deny our prediction.

Southampton (8/5) to win at home to Wolves:

The situation in this case is that Wolves must still be feeling pretty miserable from blowing a 2-0 lead in a semi-final which denied a first FA Cup Final appearance since 1960. As great a season as they’ve had it will be hard to pick themselves up now. Southampton, I have to admit, have done much better under Ralph Hassenhuttl. A home record in 2019 of W3 D1 L2 should improve further today, and make relegation extremely unlikely.

Swansea (5/4) to win at QPR:

Dipping into the Championship, it’s hard to say this match looks too crucial for either side with the chances of either being in a different division in 2019-20 minimal to say the least. Yet Swansea are enjoying a great April with 3 wins from 3 achieved with 9 goals scored. Meanwhile QPR just need the campaign to end, with a caretaker manager at the helm, on a dismal run of 1 win in 17 league outings.
