On The Charge
The pressure is building at the top of the Championship but Nottm Forest are relaxed and making a late, unlikely bid for the playoffs.
Nottingham Forest fans have endured the ultimate roller-coaster ride this season having gone from early table-toppers, to no-hopers and now back to a force to be reckoned with. After taking 23 points from a possible 30, Dougie Freedman’s flying new team are an eye-catching 9/2 (Bet365) to win at Carrow Road on Saturday.
It’s not that Norwich aren’t on good form themselves but they can’t justify 8/11 (Sportingbet) favouritism. The Canaries have drawn their last two and must surely be feeling the heat affecting all the sides in the automatic promotion battle. It’s so tight, and the stakes are so high.
In contrast, Forest are 8 points off the play-offs - not close enough to feel real pressure but with enough momentum to make it an exciting possibility. That’s a potent energy and we should back the upset at a very enticing price.
