Championship Treble

The Championship title race looks like a battle between Norwich and Swansea, given the Welsh club's games-in-hand. We're backing both to win on Saturday along with Woodgate's Bournemouth.

The Championship, so often a nightmare to predict, has a few teams looking something close to reliable. We can potentially take advantage, and back three of the top-6 at a boosted price of 9/1 with PaddyPower - Norwich, Swansea and Bournemouth carry our hopes with them.

Norwich v Luton:

Starting off with the likely banker, which is no reflection on Luton who have done really well to stay clear of the relegation picture. However, Norwich are looking like champions elect, 10pts clear, and on a run of six wins on the bounce. The Canaries stuck with Daniel Farke, and loyalty looks like being rewarded with a second promotion in three years.

Preston v Bournemouth:

Perhaps the riskiest of the three, but Bournemouth arrive with confidence surely restored after vital wins over Watford and Bristol City. It’s been a positive start for new boss Jonathan Woodgate, and a playoff spot remains on track. As for Preston, they are on a run of 1 win in 5 which leaves them in mid-table mediocrity, going nowhere fast.

Swansea v Middlesbrough:

I had high hopes for Boro this season, with Warnock in charge and an initially fearsome defence, but they will now do incredibly well to reach the top-6. The Teesiders haven’t been bad lately, but Swansea have been generally very good all season and are now Norwich’s biggest threat to the title. Their 96th minute winner in midweek was contentious - but what a shot in the arm for the Swans.
