United Bandwagon

The form team in England's price will crash to single figures if they overcome PSG, who are missing 2 of their 3 superstars for the 1st leg at the Theatre of Dreams. 28/1 is a steal post-Jose.

The Champions League makes a welcome return on Tuesday night with one or two teams in a very different state to when the last-16 draw was made. No side has undergone a more positive transformation than Manchester United who must be added to our portfolio when best odds of 28/1 are still available with Boylesports.

That hefty price is both a hangover of the Jose Mourinho era but also a vote of confidence in Paris St Germain, who continue to dominate their domestic league. But does that tell us anything about their true credentials, particularly when Neymar and Cavani will both miss the trip to Old Trafford?

Even with their star men PSG were arguably exposed by Liverpool once, and Napoli twice, in the group stages. The fancied French were lucky to escape Anfield with just a 3-2 defeat, while the Italians were only denied victory in the Parc des Princes by a 93rd minute Di Maria ‘worldy’.

We all know United have won 10 of their 11 games under Solskjaer, and it’s not reactionary to think they have the momentum to go deep in a similar way to Liverpool did last season.

Back the Red Devils each-way and get paid out at ½ odds if they lose in the final, just as their Merseyside rivals did.
