7th Mar 2018 | Champions League
Tonight's game at the Etihad really doesn't matter but that gives inferior opponents a chance to show they aren't so bad.
Last night we saw what happens in Champions League 2nd legs when there’s nothing to play for - it gets dull!
Liverpool followed their 5-0 victory in Porto with a 0-0 at Anfield and we should also expect Manchester City to take their foot off the gas at the Etihad.
Basel are playing for pride and are well priced +2 goals at best odds of 6/4 with BetFair in the handicap market.
The Swiss side won their last two Champions League away games and beat Man Utd at home in the group stages so they aren’t without ability. If they are more motivated, they can do ok in Manchester.
