Spurs Can Scale Nou Heights
The bookies can't get past Barcelona's brilliant Champions League home record but they have rarely faced a side as good as Tottenham's when potentially lacking motivation and superstars themselves.
On paper Tottenham face a mighty task on Tuesday night but an indifferent Barcelona side are more likely to prove a nightmare for an Inter Milan side who are reliant upon them.
Barca coach Valverde is trying to make the right noises but the reality is he won’t play Suarez and may rest Messi plus other key players as well. Top spot in Group B is already assured so the Catalan might is mostly there in name only.
Spurs were terrific on the road in the Champions League last season. They won 2-1 in Dortmund, drew 1-1 with eventual winners Real Madrid and dominated a 2-2 draw away to Juventus.
They haven’t hit those heights yet on the continent in 2018-19 but they have won 8 of 10 Premier League away matches.

Pochettino has defensive problems with a suddenly lack of full-backs to contend with. That should ensure even a second-string Barcelona find the net at some point.
