Serie A Fast Starters Head to Etihad

Roma have won seven games in a row across all competitions so will offer Manchester City another tough examination of their Champions League credentials.

Manchester City have been susceptible at home to quality sides in the Champions League every year they’ve been in the Champions League and they face another one of those on Tuesday evening.

Roma have stormed to five wins from five in Serie A this season and opened their Group E account with a handsome 5-1 victory over CSKA Moscow. With Daniele De Rossi now also back from suspension, the Italians have plenty of reasons for hope.

Man City are certainly going along pretty well themselves after a recent 7-0 success over Sheffield Wednesday and a 4-2 win at Hull at the weekend, but that latter result also demonstrated the vulnerability which led to a shock home loss against Stoke last month.

I can’t see anything that bad happening again but a score draw looks a very conceivable outcome here at best odds of 4/1 with BetVictor.
