Mario's Found His 'Brother' in Milan

Balotelli has said his new head coach Clarence Seedorf is like a "big brother" to him, and when he's happy, he scores.

Given their league positions in their respective countries, I guess we shouldn’t be surprised to see Atletico Madrid quoted as nothing longer than 5/4 (Skybet) to win this first leg while AC Milan are out at 14/5 with Coral.

However, this is to somewhat ignore the lift that the Italian side has received since Clarence Seedorf was appointed in his first managerial role last month. Milan have actually won three and drawn one of their four Serie A home games since the turn of the year and one man in particular, Mario Balotelli, seems to have taken to his new boss.

The former ‘enfant terrible’ of Manchester City has described Seedorf as “like a big brother” and when Mario is content, he is a formidable striker. At best odds of 9/4 (BetVictor) he is well worth a flutter in the anytime goalscorer market.

Balotelli has four goals in his last five starts and also found the net against Celtic and Ajax in the group stages. Only a handful of players have had more shots on target in the Champions League this season so the value here is pretty definite.
