Don’t Underestimate Copenhagen

Leicester v FC Copenhagen Tips: FC Copenhagen to win

Unbeaten in the Danish Superliga & Champions League, FC Copenhagen could be the strongest team in Group G.

After their miraculous title winning season it’s hard to know what to expect from Leicester. Their Champions League form has provided welcome relief from struggles in the league but how long can this continue?

By winning their first two games, the bookmakers make Leicester even money to win three on the trot but FC Copenhagen should not be underestimated. They are unbeaten in eight Champions League matches from a campaign that started in mid-July, whilst they haven’t lost in the Danish Superliga this season.

A 4-0 thrashing of Club Brugge in the last round of fixtures means they shouldn’t be taken lightly and their underlying figures are good. Although the sample size is small they are averaging 2 shots more per game than Leicester (one in and one outside the box) and their defence is better, giving up 3.5 fewer shots.

FC Copenhagen are arguably the strongest team in the group and shouldn’t be 7/2 (Skybet) to win at the King Power stadium.
