City Wobble Could Continue
Manchester City have already qualified as group winners in the Champions League so this is an unwelcome trip to Croatia with a depleted squad. The hosts have plenty to play for and have already shown they're decent on their own patch.
Sergio Aguero, David Silva and John Stones are all missing for a match that doesn’t much matter to the English champions, so it may not be the right time to turn around their mediocre form.
Dinamo Zagreb are backable at best odds of 9/2 with Bet365 given what they’ve shown so far, and their greater incentive. The Croatians beat Atalanta 4-0 and drew 3-3 with Shakhtar to show what they can do at Maksimir Stadium.
Zagreb have a profile which means that they shouldn’t get overly discouraged by other results going against them. In other words, a win means a guarantee of Europa League football in the new year, which would still matter, with an outside chance of making the Champions League knockout phase, which would be a huge achievement.
