Bayern Tend To Win With Something To Spare

The defending champions have already made Man City and Arsenal look second-best on their own grounds this season.

Bayern Munich are such a dominant force in European football that they can normally ensure that they not only win, but that they establish a cushion, in two-legged competitions.

The holders have won their last seven away matches in the Champions League and on five on those occasions it was by a two-goal margin - a 7/2 shot with Boylesports at Old Trafford. It was 0-2 at this stage last year against Juventus, 3-1 versus Man City in October and 0-2 at Arsenal in the previous round.

I imagine Man Utd will raise themselves to do better than the recent 3-0 home defeats to Man City and Liverpool, but not much better. They might score, but the outcome of this tie doesn’t look in doubt.

1pt Bayern to win by 2 goals 7/2 with Boylesports
