Bayern Can Keep It Clean At The Emirates

So much is made of the defending champions' goal threat, but their defence is also supreme.

Bayern Munich have won their last two trips to England by a 3-1 scoreline but I expect them to win to nil this time at best odds of 9/4 with Skybet.

The defending champions remain unbeaten in the Bundesliga this season (W19 D2) and what really separates them from the rest is the defence. Pep Guardiola’s boys have only scored six more than third placed Dortmund, but they have conceded 15 fewer - just nine in 21 league fixtures.

Arsenal badly miss the double threat that would be offered by the injured Aaron Ramsey and Theo Walcott, and there is now too much onus on Olivier Giroud to provide the end product in the biggest matches. Without a goal in his last four, the Frenchman won’t be at his most confident.

Bayern have won their last seven games on the road and saw off Juventus and Barcelona last season without conceding once in all four legs. With that track record and pedigree, the odds on an away win with a clean sheet here look like a snip.
