A Sad 6 Days?
The chances are that Liverpool are about to end a magnificent season trophyless. Failure to grab an away goal at the Nou Camp, and key injuries make this first part mission impossible.
Liverpool line up as favourites to win the 2nd Leg of this Champions League semi-final, yet are rated as 4% shots to progress to the final. I’m backing a score draw at Anfield at best odds of 7/2 with BetVictor.
The most optimistic Reds fans will be clinging to the dream of a couple of early goals getting the Catalan giants nervous, but the reality is that Lionel Messi is liable to show up with at least one moment of class to finish this tie once and for all.
Barcelona are too strong to assume they will lose any one-off match when the hosts are missing Salah and Firminho. Equally, Liverpool are imperious in front of their own fans so a face-saving draw seems most likely here.
