A Point in Sevilla Would Boost Reds
Champions League Group E has been one of the more keenly contested but these 2 sides hold the advantage.
If these sides have done the maths, and you’d like to think they have, it will be clear that a score draw would work well for both at best odds of 16/5 with Boylesports. 0-0 also works but that looks most unlikely!
That would leave Sevilla only needing to beat group whipping boys Maribor to progress and Liverpool requiring no more than a point at home to Spartak Moscow.
The reverse match finished 2-2 at Anfield with Liverpool dominating but the Spaniards have improved since then and have home advantage to rely upon.
Sevilla have won 4 of their last 5 in all competitions, only losing to Barcelona, but keeping just one clean sheet in that run.
The Reds have won 5 of their last 6 but you never expect them to shutout high quality opponents away from home.
