Black Cats Are Difficult To Beat

We want to win money if Sunderland secure yet another draw so this is the right market.

Every time you think Liverpool have turned the corner they suffer another setback. The Reds looked all set for a revival in 2015 when they brushed Swansea aside 4-1 on 29 December, but just three days later they were blowing a 2-0 lead at home to bottom club Leicester.

In truth, Rodgers’ boys were somewhat fortunate to even draw with the Foxes and the slender 2-1 victory at League 2 Wimbledon only proved one thing; they will miss Steven Gerrard when he goes. The Merseysiders won’t relish this trip to the Stadium of Light.

Sunderland nearly held Man City at the Etihad on New Year’s Day and can sight credible results over Chelsea, Newcastle, West Ham and indeed Liverpool (0-0 at Anfield) in the last six weeks.

Interestingly, the Black Cats have lost fewer league games (6) than their upcoming opponents (7) and only languish down in 14th because of an abnormal number of draws (11). The double chance market therefore appeals.

The hosts have only lost 30% of their games while Liverpool have only won 40% of their fixtures. The smart money therefore goes on Sunderland-Draw at best odds of 20/21 with Boylesports.
