The bookies wrongly assume that this match has to be full of goals.
The one scoreline that many of the bookies assume they can rule out on Wednesday night is 0-0 but I think that’s a mistake. There’s a huge discrepancy in this market with some firms going as low as 8/1 while Coral are still offering a ‘too good to turn down’ 22/1.
The oddsmakers took a similar view of last night’s semi-final and nearly got burned when it remained 0-0 for 82 minutes.
It could easily be more of the same tonight if Bayern can frustrate their hosts early on. The Bundesliga champions haven’t conceded a Champions League goal for 275 minutes.
