Baggies By One

West Brom have a strike partnership suddenly firing on all cylinders while United are as vulnerable as ever.

The inconsistency of Manchester United is probably enough to make backing the home win here at 10/3 a good value bet. The Red Devils were incredibly fortunate to beat Watford 1-0 at Old Trafford in midweek so don’t let anyone fool you into thinking they have turned a corner.

West Brom are having an excellent run in the league having won at Goodison Park, beaten Palace, and picked up a point at fortress King Power Stadium. They look a different proposition with Saido Berahino enjoying his football alongside an increasingly dangerous Salomon Rondon.

The Baggies have also beaten Arsenal and drawn at Liverpool and Chelsea so they do not fear the big boys one bit.

They remain a side in the image of their manager though and if Tony Pulis gets in front, more often than not he is willing to protect that lead rather than look to extend it. Consequently, all ten of their wins this season have come by a single goal.

In other words, if you’re backing a West Brom win, do so by a one goal margin at best odds of 11/2 with Skybet.
