Atletico Can Keep Barca At Bay
Atletico have conceded just 15 goals in La Liga and both legs of their last-16 encounter finished goalless.
Betting on the Barcelona v Atletico game boils down to whether you think attack or defence will dominate. Barcelona have scored 87 goals in 31 La Liga matches (2.8 goals per game) whereas Atletico Madrid have conceded just 15 goals in the same number of matches (0.48 goals per game).
This season in La Liga, Barcelona have won both encounters 2-1 but a two-legged affair brings a different approach and we are more likely to see a repeat of their tight 2014 quarter final.
Diego Simeone’s team failed to score (or concede) in 180 minutes of football against PSV in the last round and he’d probably settle for something similar at the Nou Camp.
Despite the wealth of attacking talent on show, it pays to go against the crowd and take the 10/1 (Skybet) there is no goalscorer on Tuesday night.
