Arsenal Decline Exaggerated

Arsenal are playing better than their last few results suggest but these sides are currently very evenly matched.

Reports of Arsenal’s recent decline have been greatly exaggerated. Anybody who watched the 0-0 draw against Southampton will know that there was little wrong with the performance; they just faced an inspired goalkeeper that night.

Before that the 1-0 defeat to Chelsea was dictated by an early sending off. Even with that they’ve only lost two of their last 15 matches in all competitions. Hardly a crisis.

What is true is that Bournemouth no longer look anything like a contender for relegation. They have only lost one time in seven outings in league and cup since their 2-0 defeat at the Emirates on 28 December.

Both teams have taken 12 points from their last 8 league matches and are actually playing to a very similar level once you look past the spin. A score draw is the most likely outcome at a best price of 18/5 with Boylesports.
